Season’s best ski and snowboard conditions

March 18, 2008, Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver, B.C. – Snow enthusiasts can revel in the thrilling experience of winter over Spring Break, and enjoy excellent conditions at Grouse Mountain. A total of 90 cm of fresh powder has fallen in the past five days, bringing the total snow depth to 425 cm with more on the way. Vancouver's favourite mountain resort currently offers visitors the best skiing terrain this season at Grouse Mountain, and a refuge to snow enthusiasts from the deluge of rain.
The pristine ski area is also home to other activities including outdoor skating and snowshoeing for mountain trail excursions, that offer visitors a magical holiday experience close to home. Two new quad chairlifts, Greenway and Peak, are also operational as the latest major installment for the 2008/2009 season. Both improvements provide access to more terrain and reduced wait times for skiers and riders, and continue Grouse Mountain's commitment to add value to the alpine experience for guests.
In addition to having 26 great runs to choose from, Grouse Mountain's snowmaking fleet and experienced snowmaking team – the largest and most extensive on the North Shore – have also added 90 cm of total snowmaking so far this season.
