Rentals are not available to book yet for the Winter 2024/25 season. Please check back soon.

Save time and money by pre-purchasing your rental equipment online. Your equipment rentals will be available in the Rental Outpost at the top of the mountain.

From snowshoes to the latest ski/snowboard gear, the Rental Outpost has what you need for your day on the mountain. Grouse Mountain is home to one of the most experienced rental shops in Canada. Let our team outfit you with the latest in ski and snowboard gear. If you are an experienced rider, don't forget to check out our Premium Rental options.

The Rental Outpost is located directly East of the Peak Chalet, moments from the Skyride.

wHAT IS YOUR SKIER TYPE?

Determining your skier type is your responsibility! Your skier type, height, weight, age and boot sole length are used by the shop technician to determine the release/retention settings for your bindings. For more information, click the image below to enlarge it.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY WAIVER

A Release of Liability Waiver must be completed each season for any person renting equipment.

For those under the age of 19, a parent or guardian must complete a waiver for the individual prior to receiving equipment.

Complete Waiver

Limited clothing rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, we do not rent items like mitts, gloves or goggles (all are available for purchase at Outfitters retail shop in the Peak Chalet).

Please note: Damage protection fees are automatically added to all rentals booked online. A $10 service charge will be added to all day-of rentals on the mountain.

*Helmets are complimentary with all ski/board rental packages or ski/board only rentals.

Grouse Mountain reserves the right to change or cancel programs and schedules without notice. Products are non refundable and non transferable.

Damage PROTECTION

Damage protection is added to all rentals booked online in case of accidental damage. For $3 ($5 for Premium Equipment), protect yourself from the damages caused by hidden rocks or other obstacles. Please be advised that this does not cover lost or stolen equipment. We strongly suggest you keep your equipment attended at all times. 

Waiver
 
All guests are required to fill out and sign a rental waiver form. Those under 18 years of age wishing to rent equipment must have a parent or guardian sign the rental waiver form in the rental shop, or at the base of the Mountain.

Identification 

Guests may be required to show valid photo ID at the time of rental.
