Grouse Mountain offers options as parents scramble to find childcare solutions
May 20, 2014
(North Vancouver) As BC teachers prepare to strike, Grouse Mountain is providing a special offering of our Adventure Day Camps for students.
These programs mirror typical school day times (8:30 am - 3:30 pm, with after-care available until 4:30 pm) and provide hassle-free alternatives that are healthy, safe and affordable. These exciting day camps will give school-aged children the opportunity to experience unique interactive activities centered around outdoor exploration, animal behaviour, and mountain rescue and discovery. Programs start at an affordable $57 per day.
“These programs are fantastic childcare options for parents,” says Grouse Mountain general manager Michael Cameron. “As a parent of three young boys, I understand the pressure of finding childcare and we have the facilities, qualified staff and programming in place to alleviate some of that stress.”
