North Vancouver, June 5, 2009 – Soaring temperatures this week may leave you searching for shade and wondering where to find cooler climes. Come up to the only cool spot in Vancouver at Grouse Mountain to relax and enjoy the rays without running for cover. Several degrees less heat and ample snow create an atmosphere where you can actually throw a snowball in your summer wear and chill with your friends and family.
The Grouse Grind Social Nights returned this week in Altitudes Bistro for the third successive summer season. The exciting evening events take place every Wednesday throughout summer and kick off at 6pm. Come out to meet other hikers, visitors or lounge lovers, or get a group of your own together to escape the monotony of the daily routine. Grouse Grind Social Nights feature a live DJ, excellent prize giveaways, and plenty of food & beverage specials to keep the conversation flowing.
Vancouver’s most popular hiking trail, the Grouse Grind, is now open to the public for another exhilarating summer season.
