Wilderness First Aid Training

Wilderness First Aid is a course designed for Individuals who work, travel or play outside the range of emergency medical services. Led by our team of experience mountain patrollers, this 2-day course will provide you with introduction to wilderness first aid with an emphasis on prevention, practical skills, decision-making and dealing with changing environmental conditions. 

About Your Instructors

Wilderness First Aid Training at Grouse Mountain is produced in partnership with Sirius Wilderness Medicine.

All of our instructors are members of the Grouse Mountain Ski Patrol with extensive experience in outdoor and wilderness emergency care.

Participant Info
  • CPR Certification is a requirement for this course and can be obtained on Day 1.
  • Participants meet in Valley Plaza outside Guest Services at the base of the Mountain at 8:00am each day.
  • This course is intended for adults but mature youth (15+) can register with parental consent.
