This fall, Grouse Mountain is pleased to host the third annual Artists for Conservation Festival, featuring the world’s leading conservation-themed exhibit of nature and wildlife art to the Peak of Vancouver.

This year’s festival, presented by RE/MAX, will offer visitors of all ages the opportunity to explore the exhibits, participate in art workshops, listen to guest speakers, watch films and observe live painting demonstrations. Artwork by internationally acclaimed artists will be available for purchase and the proceeds will directly support conservation initiatives around the world.

The exhibit features 80 original paintings and sculptures by 70 leading BC and international artists, including Robert Bateman, Guy Harvey, Mark Hobson, David Kitler, Pollyanna Pickering and Ed Spera.

The artworks will be on display to the public from September 28 through October 6. The exhibit is an incredible opportunity for art collectors to discover talent and acquire some impressive artworks, while supporting conservation.

In addition to the exhibit, the AFC Festival provides the public with a chance to personally meet some of the world’s most inspiring and talented artists.

The festival opens with a special fundraiser gala on September 27 with 40 artists. The gala will feature live painting of birds-of-prey for auction, awards, music, along with a film premiere.
