Grouse Mountain celebrated the most successful 24 Hours of Winter and Family Day long weekend ever. The annual event saw thousands of guests visit the resort to enjoy a wide variety of winter activities from skiing and snowboarding to snowshoeing and skating; many staying through the night Saturday to view the sunrise on Sunday morning.

“This year’s 24 Hours of Winter celebration was a great success; we were thrilled to see so many guests making the most of their time on the Mountain and enjoying a unique overnight experience.” said Grouse Mountain spokesperson Julia Grant. “We capped off the long-weekend with spectacular conditions for our exciting Family Day events which included a pancake breakfast in support of North Shore Rescue and a lantern release in celebration of Chinese New Year.”

With such a wide variety of family-friendly activities like sleigh rides, the new Sliding Zone and our mountaintop Skating Pond, Grouse Mountain was the perfect place to enjoy time with family. The weekend’s many events also included a stunning Torch Parade, a special edition late night Park Jam, the Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run and a Junior Pond Hockey Tournament.
