24/7 Celebrations Kick Off at 4 AM Friday with Free Access to the First NBC Today Broadcast and Mountaintop Activities
February 10, 2010, Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver, BC – Michael Bublé, superstar chef Daniel Boulud, world famous anchors Matt, Meredith, Al, and Ann will all help Grouse Mountain launch the much-anticipated 24/7 opening for all 17 days of the Olympics.
To usher in this historic date in style, Grouse Mountain will supply free mountain access from 4am to 6am only, Friday, February 12th. This one-time complimentary access period permits skiers, riders, snowshoers, diners, sightseers, music fans and foodies to hit Vancouver’s favourite mountain and witness one of the biggest broadcasts of the Games.
Grouse Mountain’s 24/7 Games celebrations will showcase the very best of British Columbia with a daily roster of exciting events, celebrity visits, entertainment, athleticism, and a pervasive spirit of the Games worthy of the True North, Strong and Free!
Youth hockey tournaments, NBC Today live daily, Canadian cultural performances, round-the-clock downhill access, late-night venues, live Games coverage, nightly torch parades, and medal-winning celebrations are just some of the highlights of this historic period on Grouse Mountain.
