Experience the exhilarating rush of adventure at Grouse Mountain with Tandem Paragliding! Feel the wind in your hair and take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and the city below.
For Tandem Paragliding, the pilot and the passenger are attached to each other to the wing by a harness system. The passenger sits in front of the pilot to enjoy the flight and views. Experience the freedom of flying like a bird without needing any prior experience or training.
A Release of Liability Waiver must be completed prior to participating in this activity. For those under the age of 19, a parent or guardian must complete a waiver for the individual.

Flight Details:
- Check-in at Guest Services at least 1.5 hours prior to scheduled flight time
- Check-in and Ground School (15 min): Guests check in with the Flight Director at top of The Peak Chair. Learn about the equipment and safety procedures, launch technique, the construction of the glider, as well as basic meteorology - the weather we need to fly.
- Flight Time (15-20 min): Learn how the paraglider flies and is controlled. Experience turns and pitch control and be guided through approach and landing technique. You will land at Cleveland Park.
- Debriefing (10 min): Discuss the flight and ask any questions before packing up the chute and getting a return ride to Grouse Mountain.
Please note: A Mountain Admission Ticket or valid Grouse Mountain Annual Pass is also required to access the mountain. You will have access to activities including the World-Famous Lumberjack Show and Birds in Motion Demonstration.

- Minimum age: 6 years old
- Guests under the age of 19 require a parent or legal guardian to sign a waiver.
- Guest max weight Limit: 220 lbs/99.7kg
- Must be in good physical condition. Some sprinting is required
- Not recommended for expectant mothers or guests with back, neck or heart conditions
- Closed-toed shoes are required. A hiking boot with ankle support is ideal but not required.
- Guests may not operate cellphones or photographic devices during the flight (In-Flight photos and videos are offered as an additional service)
You can make changes to your tandem paragliding reservation, including cancelling with full refund, up to 24 hours before. Thereafter all sales are final and non-refundable except under the weather conditions described below.
Tandem Paragliding is highly weather dependent. Please call Guest Services at 604.980.9311 to confirm your flight by 9am the morning of your scheduled adventure. If your flight is delayed due to weather conditions more than one hour, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your flight to another day or receive a refund.
