(North Vancouver) Grouse Mountain will take guests to new heights with the launch of the Resort’s latest activities, the Mountain Ropes Adventure and Kids Tree Canopy Adventure. Beginning this August, guests can explore the Mountain’s forest from up high as they embark on a mountaintop aerial ropes journey.
“We’re excited to announce the launch of aerial ropes adventure coming to Peak of Vancouver™ with the new Mountain Ropes Adventure and Kids Tree Canopy Adventure” said Tyler McCulloch, Mountain Adventures Manager for Grouse Mountain. “Accessible for all ages, our Mountain Ropes Adventure and Kids Tree Canopy Adventure will delight and challenge guests along the only local aerial ropes course that explores some of our Province’s pristine forest. Families will love these new adventures that they can share together.”
The Mountain Ropes Adventure consists of a series of four aerial ropes courses with varying degrees of difficulty. Guests will encounter a variety of challenges as they progress through the courses including suspended bridges, ziplines, ladders and nets. The Kids Tree Canopy Adventure is fully contained and consists of three double treehouses, one single treehouse, slides and ground games. There is an adjacent parents’ supervision area. The Kids Tree Canopy Adventure is for children 3 to 8 and is complementary with the purchase of a Mountain Admission Ticket.
Mountain Ropes Adventure augments Grouse Mountain’s extensive summer offering. A Grouse Mountain Admission ticket provides Skyride access to favourite activities including the World Famous Lumberjack Show®, the Birds in Motion® Demonstration, Grizzly Bear Ranger Talks, the Scenic Peak Chair and Pollinator’s Garden. Guests can add more thrills to their day with Mountain Ziplines, Skyride Surf Adventure™, Tandem Paraglide, Breakfast with the Bears, The Eye of the Wind turbine tours, Scenic Mountain Biking, Heli-tours and, come August, Mountain Ropes Adventure.
