That's exactly what the ClearlyContacts.ca Grouse Grind Mountain Run does. If you're running it as a race, this post might not be for you. This Saturday, September 22nd, we want to put a call out to anyone with two legs and a pair of shoes to be a part of a climb up the Grind for BC Children's Hospital Foundation. A climb that will end, opening up into a mountaintop festival of fun.
Last week we listed a whole handful of reasons this event is going to be great to be a part of. Remember the live music, beer and free sunglasses from ClearlyContacts.ca?
Those were all reasons why you should sign up... This week we want to ask, Why wouldn't you?
You will be joining hundreds and hundreds of others just like you who aren't in it to win it, they're in it to be a part of something great, with a side serving of fun. Sign up, line up, walk up and be among others who are climbing the Grind trail to support the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
Sure, after you reach the top you'll be rewarded with a free pair of $70 sunglasses from ClearlyContacts.ca. Sure, there will be beer, food, live music and prizes for most colourful team, slowest, fastest and more. Sure you'll meet new friends and get a work out while doing it.
Most of all, you'll be helping some very special young kids over at the BC Children's Hospital. When the event is wrapped up for the day and your accomplishment for hiking the Grind has passed, what will stay with you is knowing you were able to be there with hundreds of others to raise money and show support for the kids.
