Grinder and Coola have emerged from hibernation! To visit our resident Grizzly bears this weekend, follow the signs on the mountaintop for the best route to the bear habitat. With snow on the mountain, we recommend wearing sturdy, weather-appropriate footwear.
Great news, hikers! The Grouse Grind is officially open. The trail is now open daily from 7:00am - 6:00pm.

T'was the night before Peak of Christmas at Grouse Mountain when what to our wondering eyes should appear?  Why it's Dancer and Vixen, two of Santa's Reindeer!

Yes, Dancer and Vixen have once again braved the journey to Grouse Mountain rest and relax before they have to go to work with Santa on Christmas Eve.  They can be visited daily during our operating hours and are inhabiting an area beside Santa's Workshop next to our Skate Pond.

Our Wildlife Staff will be giving daily Reindeer Interpretive Sessions at 2pm and 4pm.  Learn why both Male and Female reindeer have antlers, why their ankles make a clicking noise and just how Santa gets them to make it around the world in one evening.

The Peak of Christmas Event starts tomorrow, Saturday the 26th of November and runs through to Christmas Eve.  Come up and listen to christmas carolers, skate on our pond, watch christmas classics in the Theater in the Sky or visit Santa and his Reindeer.  It's a magical experience that is great for the whole family.

Happy Holidays everyone!
