Grinder and Coola have emerged from hibernation! To visit our resident Grizzly bears this weekend, follow the signs on the mountaintop for the best route to the bear habitat. With snow on the mountain, we recommend wearing sturdy, weather-appropriate footwear.
Great news, hikers! The Grouse Grind is officially open. The trail is now open daily from 7:00am - 6:00pm.

Starting tomorrow, Saturday Nov. 5th, Grouse Mountain is proud to host the 2011 Artists for Conservation festival.  This event will showcase the works of some of the most renowned Wildlife Artists in the world - including Robert Bateman.

In addition to showcasing their artwork, there will be discussions and presentations around the important conservation work being done by these individuals and the organizations they represent.

I'm quite excited to be a part of this event and today I had a sneak preview of some of the art that will be showcased.  I was blown away by the incredible scenes that will be present in our art galleries over the next couple of weeks.

The schedule includes video presentations in our theatres, talks by guest lecturers and live art demonstrations.

This event is open to the public and is included with your annual pass or day pass when you visit Grouse  Mountain.

I hope you can come check it out!
