At Grouse Mountain our snowmaking team has been working hard over the past few days to increase Mountain snow coverage. The overnight temperatures have really dropped and while weather forecasts are a little inconsistent, we are hoping for some surface level freezing which will be perfect for more snowmaking.

As always it is our goal to open terrain as early as we can and we are currently focused on getting The Cut and the Screaming Eagle Chair open. These areas could open as early as mid-to-late this week, providing more great terrain for skiing and riding.

Grouse Mountain opened for skiing, riding and snowshoeing on November 20th, and is currently operating with Paradise Bowl, Paradise Jib Park, Peak, Lower Peak and the Snowshoe Grind open. A $500K snowmaking upgrade was completed in advance of the 2015/16 winter season.
