Summer Has Arrived for 2015

Summer is officially here at the Peak of Vancouver! Beginning Saturday, join us on the mountaintop for visits with our Grizzly bears Grinder and Coola, watch majestic birds of prey during a Birds in Motion Demonstration, be awed by the dazzling axe-wielding expertise of the World Famous Lumberjack Show, enjoy movies in the Theatre in the Sky, grab a bite in The Observatory or Altitudes Bistro, stop in Outfitters and The Spirit Gallery…the list goes on! To take the fun to a new level (literally), take in a 360-degree view from the Eye of the Wind, enjoy heart-pounding excitement on a five-line Mountain Ziplines tour and book a Heli Tour for a bird’s-eye view of Vancouver.
In June, we’re launching our summer of Small Wonders dedicated to exploring everything there is to know about our mountaintop’s tiniest inhabitants including honeybees, hummingbirds, salamanders, butterflies…and more. Be amazed by a behind-the-scenes hive tour, experience our hands-on bee interpretive centre, and visit our pollinator's garden. Stay tuned – the buzz is building.
