Grouse Mountain Seasonal Closure - November 1-10, 2018
UPDATE: Grouse Mountain will now re-open on November 11 (rather than the originally communicated November 12), as seasonal maintenance work has been completed early.
October 12, 2018
Grouse Mountain is introducing a new seasonal closure that will take place annually as the Mountain transitions between its summer and winter operations.
For 2018, from November 1 – 10, there will be no upload or download access to/from the Mountain and all mountaintop activities and facilities will be closed. This will allow for major maintenance and winter preparation projects to be completed at a time of year when the Mountain traditionally experiences lower traffic.
Grouse Mountain’s Guest Services and Essentials will remain open as well Starbucks located in the base plaza.
During the Resort's seasonal closure, the Grouse Grind™ and BCMC Trail will remain open however there will be no download access on the Grouse Mountain Skyrides. As downhill hiking on the Grouse Grind™ is prohibited, hikers will need to use the BCMC Trail to return back down to the trailhead.
We look forward to welcoming guests back for the 2018/19 winter season.
