New Year. New Goals.
Resolve to get fit and have fun in 2012
December 29, 2011
For many of us, New Year’s Eve also means making some New Year’s resolutions. For those looking to put fitness first-and-foremost, we have some ideas that can help make that resolution both specific and fun!
Our Snowshoe Clinics begin the weekend of January 7/8. With options for Beginners, Ladies (Only), or those looking for Race Preparation, there truly is a Clinic for everyone. The Race Preparation Clinic will allow for seven session before the annual Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run – a perfect way to check your progress in a fun race setting. Entry into the Snowshoe Grind Mountain Run is included in all Clinic registrations.
Looking for a little less structure? Snowshoe Drop In Training Nights are the perfect way to schedule a fabulous workout in clean, crisp alpine air. And, with Winter Social Nights immediately following the Wednesday
Night Drop In sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy some post-workout socializing with like-minded individuals.
For those looking for fitness with extra benefit, consider signing up for the Seek the Peak race. This year’s race takes place June 23 – which means you have nearly six months to get into optimal condition. The 16km race begins at Ambleside Park and climbs its way all the way up to The Peak at the top of Dam Mountain. Run it in a relay or test yourself by going solo. Either way, your participation and pledge collection will benefit ReThink Breast Cancer.
