It’s an early spring in the Lower Mainland, and Grouse Mountain’s two orphaned Grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola, have made their way into the sunshine from their hibernation den this week. While they are still a little bit groggy, they are getting increasingly active every day. On March 21st, Grouse Mountain launches its Breakfast with the Bears program for the 2015 spring and summer season. Breakfast with the Bears provides early Mountain access with one of our Wildlife Rangers and an interpretive talk on Grizzlies. Grinder and Coola should be ready for their breakfast and you can witness their morning nosh. Afterward, it’s your turn to eat with a delicious buffet breakfast in the Grizzly Bear Lookout Yurt.
