Gingerbread Village Challenge 2018

This is a fantastic opportunity for professional and aspiring bakers and pastry chefs to showcase your talents in support of a good cause. We are currently looking for entries of unique gingerbread creations that will be on display in the Grouse Mountain chalet from November 23-January 6. All levels and abilities are welcome to submit and entry and participate in the challenge!
Why Participate?
You will be supporting BC Children's Hospital which is the Province’s only full-service, pediatric acute care hospital and serves the one million children living in BC and the Yukon. Plus, you have a chance to win great prizes!
Prizes:
A combination of public votes and celebrity judges will determine the top three winners in the professional, amateur, and 18 and under categories, and they will be awarded the following prizes:
- 1st Place Professional Category - $1,000 Grouse Mountain Gift Card or $750 cash
- 2nd Place Professional Category - $500 Grouse Mountain Gift Card or $375 cash
- 3rd Place Professional Category - $250 partner Gift Card and One-day Admission to Grouse Mountain for a group of four
- 1st Place Amateur Category - $750 Grouse Mountain Gift Card or $550 cash, plus One-day Admission to Grouse Mountain for a group of four
- 2nd Place Amateur Category - $375 Grouse Mountain Gift Card or $250 cash, plus One-day Admission to Grouse Mountain for a group of four
- 3rd Place Amateur Category - $125 partner gift card and one-day admission to Grouse Mountain for a group of four
- 1st place 18 and Under Category: $500 Grouse Mountain Gift Card or $375 cash, plus one-day Admission to Grouse Mountain for a group of four
- 2nd place 18 and Under Category: $250 Grouse Mountain Gift Card or $175 cash, plus one-day Admission to Grouse Mountain for a group of four
- 3rd place 18 and Under Category: $75 partner gift card and one-day admission to Grouse Mountain for a group of four
