Meeting Area and Times
First day check in starts in the Valley Plaza (under the Red Skyride) 30 minutes prior to the scheduled lesson time.
This is to allow for ticket pick-up and registration. For all other sessions, please meet the instructor 15 minutes prior
to scheduled lesson time in the Valley Plaza.
If you would like your child to remain on the hill after their lesson, please ensure that you inform your child’s
instructor and sign off on their class list.
What to Wear
Helmets are mandatory for all children taking lessons. If your child has their own equipment, but requires a helmet,
you can rent one for an additional $5 + tax at the time of registration. Helmets can also be purchased at Outfitters
in the Chalet, where pass holders receive a 20% discount on their purchase.
As mountain conditions can change rapidly, please dress your child in layers and waterproof clothing. We also
suggest bringing along extra mittens/gloves and socks. Eye wear is strongly recommended.
Food & Snacks
Morning, Afternoon, Midday and Afterschool programs stop for snack breaks. The snack is not included so please
pack your child something to eat.
Full Day programs stop for lunch and snack breaks. Please take advantage of Full Day lunch options or pack food
and refreshments for your child.
Grouse Mountain gift cards are also available for purchase so that children can purchase lunch at Lupins Café
without carrying cash. Y2Play passes also function as gift cards.
Rental Information
If you require rental equipment, please fill out the enclosed rental agreement and return it in person or mail at least
ten working days prior to your first session. For holiday camps, your child’s shoes will be kept in the rental shop
until the last day of camp. Your child will go home with and bring their rental equipment to the hill for each lesson
during the holiday camps.

If you have purchased tickets with your lesson you can pick up the tickets at the registration desk on the first day of
the camp. Adults who wish to ski or snowboard on the day of their child’s lesson may purchase a Full Day Adult Lift
ticket (one ticket per child) at a discounted rate of $49. This can be purchased on the day.
