Attention all ladies who love shredding the park!

Sunday, March 24th 1:00pm - 5:00pm, mark your calendars for an unforgettable event – the first-ever all-women's rail jam proudly presented by Jam Over the City and hosted by the incredible Shredcatz! We're taking over Side Cut Park at Grouse Mountain for an afternoon filled with absolute good vibes, high fives, hard laps, and a format specifically dedicated to the ladies. All female & nonbinary gender identities and 2SLGBTQ+ welcome, ski & board, all ages.

Shredcatz, a passion project dedicated to increasing representation and participation of women specifically in the terrain park and freestyle riding/skiing, is spearheading this unique, once-in-the-season event. Led by a team of passionate female riders, Shredcatz aims to create an inclusive space in snow sports where women can thrive and push their boundaries and grow their confidence. Based in Vancouver, the Shredcatz Community Association is active in the Sea to Sky area and connects and celebrates women all over British Columbia and beyond! Find us on Instagram under the @shredcatz handle.

Rally your gals and head up to Grouse Mountain for an afternoon of camaraderie, non-stop laps on the Short Cut Handle Tow, and of course, tons of fantastic prizes! Jams are an awesome competition format, no matter if you’re a seasoned athlete or if this is your first contest. Our event sponsors and supporters, including Dinosaurs Will Die, Volcom Snow, Vans, Arbor, Salomon, Oakley, Nixon, Union, Peak Performance, and Pacific Boarder, have lined up some incredible rewards to celebrate those who crush the course. We recommend a minimum skill level of being able to hop onto a feature from the side to get the most out of your participation (no ride-on features).

Shredcatz is excited to be collaborating with the Boarding for Breast Cancer foundation who recently started an official chapter in Canada. There will be a booth setup at the rail jam for a charitable raffle to raise funds to support the foundation’s amazing work to benefit Canadian breast cancer survivors. The raffle will be open to everybody, so anyone watching will have a chance for some prizes, too!

Grab your crew, bring your energy, and let's get after it at the Jam Over the City. Don't miss out on the fun and the chance to be part of a movement that empowers women in snow sports. Let's make history together at the first Shredcatz Women's Rail Jam at Grouse Mountain.
