Grind For Kids

Make every Grouse Grind count!

About the Program

Grind For Kids is a program that leverages the enthusiasm of the thousands of people in the Lower Mainland that do the Grouse Grind on a regular basis. People sign up and ask friends, family and co-workers to pledge $1 or more for every Grouse Grind they do between the opening and the end of Grind season. After the Grind closes for the year, participants will share their success with the people who have pledged them and request they fulfill their pledges. One-time donations are also accepted.

Since it's founding, over 20,000 Grouse Grinds have been logged towards BC Children's Hospital Foundation and over $871,000 has been raised for BC sick kids. Help us reach our goal of an all-time
$1 million raised for BC Children's Hospital Foundation!

What is Grind For Kids?

Go solo. Go in a team
Create a Grind for Kids team. Recruit your friends and associates. Challenge yourselves and/or other teams in terms of the number of grinds completed or dollars raised.
Where do the funds go?
Straight to the hearts of BC kids! Funds raised will help build the cardiology unit in the new BC Children’s Hospital.
How do I sign up?
Pick up an official Grind Timer Card for $20 (includes bag check). Then collect pledges per Grind completed to help the kids.

Not a Grinder? You Can Still Help!

Everyone can help sick kids in BC. Grouse Mountain is now collecting donations for Grind For Kids in support of BC Children's Hospital.
