World Police and Fire Games Grind™ Race

On August 5th, Grouse Mountain is pleased to welcome the World Police and Fire Games by hosting a Grouse Grind® race. This event was chosen as one of 2 events the host city can select that are unique to the city and culture. Hundreds of police and fire fighters from around the world have registered and are ready to tackle our world famous 3km trail. It will be the ultimate test to see who the fittest fire fighters and police officers are. Come out to cheer on the athletes and enjoy the BC-inspired BBQ on the mountaintop plaza.
Timeline
- 9:00am-11:30am – Grouse Grind® trail will be closed for race preparation
(Trail will open after final heat at approximately 11:30am)
- 11:00am – Race Start (Lower parking lot at base of Grouse Mountain)
- 11:00am–onwards – BC-inspired BBQ at the Mountaintop Plaza
- 1:30pm – Awards presentation (Mountaintop Plaza)
