Mountain Ziplines (Gr. 4-12)

Our dual-line, five-line circuit gives you an adrenaline-pumping tour across the peaks and canyons of Grouse and Dam Mountains. 

Tour Duration: 2 hrs
Price: $65 per student (inc. General Admission)

Participants must weigh between 32kg (70lbs) and 113kg (250lbs).

Guided Interpretive Snowshoe Tour
(Gr. 3-up)

Fun and easy to learn! Join our experienced guides and wander through the snowy trails exploring the sub-alpine forest of the Coastal Mountain Range. Grouse Mountain has over 10 kilometres of marked and patrolled trails in our Munday Alpine Snow Park. Students will learn valuable survival skills and avalanche awareness.  

Tour Duration: 1.5 hrs 
Price $17 per student (inc. HST, General Admission, tour and snowshoe rental)

Ice Skating

Have you ever wanted to skate above the clouds? Visit Vancouver's only outdoor mountaintop ice skating rink. Just a few steps from the warmth of the Peak Chalet, the 8,000 square foot skating rink is open daily and is included with your Grouse Mountain Admission. 

Skate rentals are $5.00 per student (includes HST). Complimentary helmets are available for use upon request.

Peak of Christmas

Visit us during the month of December and enjoy a magical celebration of the holiday season featuring Santa's Workshop, intepretive sessions with our real reindeer, ice skating, sleigh rides, holiday carollers, musical performances and Christmas classics in the Theatre in the Sky. 

Peak of Christmas activities are included with a General Admission ticket.

Explore Grouse Mountain at your leisure. Your General Admission ticket includes a host of mountaintop activities for your class to enjoy.

Booking Information

Mountain Adventures are available Monday-Friday during the school year, except during school holidays. Bookings must be made in advance. Rates do not include a guide and apply only to school groups of 15 or more paying students. Available to Lower Mainland schools with a local database between September and June only.

To book your activity date: 
  • Choose the date(s) that suit your school's schedule. 
  • Determine the number of students and accompanying adults in your group. 
  • Contact us at 604.980.9311 or education@grousemountain.com
  • Upon receipt of your booking, we will send you a Booking Confirmation by fax. 
  • Please review the booking information carefully, then sign and return the fax to 604.984.6360 as soon as possible. 
  • A deposit may be required to confirm the booking date. Cheques are payable to Grouse Mountain Resorts Ltd. Credit card payments also accepted. All forms must be completed and received by Grouse Mountain at least 14 days prior to the activity date. 
  • If skating is a chosen activity for your group, please fax us a class list with your students' names and their shoe sizes. 
  • To make changes to your booking if necessary, contact us as soon as possible. Please forward full payment for your activities on or before your activity date.
