Some fun Reindeer Facts:

Reindeer have very special feet...
Reindeer hooves adapt to the seasons. In summer when the ground is soft and wet their footpads become sponge-like for extra traction. In winter, the pads shrink and tighten, exposing the hoof, which cuts into the ice and snow like snowshoes to keep them from slipping on your roof when Santa is delivering presents.

What should I leave out for Santa’s reindeer to eat on Christmas Eve?
If you are leaving out milk and cookies for Santa, for his reindeer some moss, lichens or even lettuce is what they like to munch on to keep their energy up.
