Quickly develop your skills under the expert care of our professional ski and snowboard instructors. Whether learning for the first time or refining your technique, you will be on your way to a whole new level.

Discovery Sessions 
Tailored specifically to students who are just learning to ski or snowboard, right up to ability level 3. Groups are no larger than 8 students, ensuring you get focused attention in a fun learning environment.

Improvement Sessions 
Tailored specifically to students of ability levels 4 to 6, who are developing their ski or snowboard skills and exploring the whole mountain. Groups are no larger than 5 students, ensuring you get excellent individualized attention.

Drop-In Lesson Info

Dates & Times - Jan. 1-Apr. 8, 2012
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12:00pm
Tuesday, Thursday: 12:00pm, 7:00pm 
Weekend: 10:30am, 1:30pm 

Spring Break (Mar. 10-Apr. 1, 2012): 10:30am, 1:30pm

Dates & Times - Apr. 9-end of 2012 season
Monday-Friday: 12:00pm 
Weekend: 10:30am, 1:30pm 

Drop-In lessons are 2 hours in length.

*Regular hours apply from beginning of season to Dec. 11 and from Jan. 7 to end of season. Evening sessions (7:00pm) will not be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during Christmas Break.

Ability Level
In order to provide the most suitable training for all students, lessons are divided into groups based on their ability level. Please review the Ability Chart to determine the skill level of the student. 

Helmets
We strongly recommend that all students wear helmets while skiing or snowboarding. All students under the age of 19 are required to wear a helmet. If your child does not have their own helmet, one may be rented for $5 per day. Helmets are also available for purchase from Outfitters Store. 

Booking
Drop-ins can register by phone at 604.980.9311 or at Guest Services at the base of the mountain at least 2 hours prior to the session start time. Or drop in to Alpine Guest Services on the main floor of the chalet 30 minutes prior to the lesson. Drop in lessons meet at the Snow School Meeting Area ten minutes before the lesson start time.

Students must be at least 7 years old.

Equipment Rentals

Left your gear at home? Want to try out high-performance skis or snowboards? The Outpost Rental Shop has you covered from helmets and clothing to the latest gear. You can book your rental online and have your skis or snowboard preset and waiting for you when you arrive at the Outpost.
