How does it work?
Purchase a Grind™ Timer Card, containing a radio frequency chip, from Grouse Mountain
(or use your existing Grouse Mountain Summit Seeker Card). Swipe your card at the
Grind™ Timer at the base of the Grouse Grind®, and again at the top of the trail,
and your name and time will appear on the monitor at Alpine Guest Services in the
Peak Chalet. Your results may also be printed for you at Alpine Guest Services.
The Grind™ Timer Card can be purchased on its own or as an add-on to the Grouse
Mountain Membership for $20.00 plus GST. Click the “Buy Now” button to the right

Access your Grind™ Timer results online to track your progress and see how you rank
amongst all Grouse Grinders, or compare to others in your age and gender categories.
All you need to get started is your Grouse Mountain Customer ID# (on the back of
your Grind™ Timer or Summit Seeker Card) and your birth date. Here is a small sample

As a member of the Grind™ Timer Program, you will also receive complimentary bag transfer to the mountaintop each time you visit. You just check your bag at Guest Services and it will be waiting for you at Alpine Guest Services, on the main floor of the Peak Chalet, at the end of your hike.
Please Note: Bag transfer is available between 8am and 8pm daily provided the Grouse Grind® trail is open as dictated by Metro Vancouver.
