Snowmaker

Full time seasonal positions available

Responsibilities:  

Repair and maintenance of Snowmaking System to ensure safe operation of the snowmaking machines in the following applications: 
  • Compressor Plant pipe lines 
  • Fan guns 
  • Air Water guns 
  • Pump stations 
  • Air compressors
Observes and reports on operation of water pumps and air compressors; conducts hourly checks, ensures efficient radio communication with on-hill crew to enhance efficiencies.

Qualifications:
  • Experience operating heavy duty machinery required
  • Experience operating snowmaking equipment preferred
  • Experience grooming preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to maintain GMR safety standards
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to work varied shifts: graveyard, days, evenings, and/or weekends; ie. May require 12 hour shifts, 5 days on 2 days off including requirement to work overtime when conditions permit.
