Groomer

Full time seasonal position available

Responsibilities:  
The experienced and safe operation of the grooming machines in the following applications: 
  • Grooming of ski runs 
  • Building and development of three Terrain Parks 
  • Maintaining Lift Ramps 
  • Staging and crowd control area building and maintenance 
  • Removing snow around all buildings and areas 
  • Grooming snowshoe trails 
  • Pulling equipment and portable buildings 
  • Preparing for Special events: i.e. races, Terrain Park events, snow sculptures 
  • Maintaining sleigh route 
  • Working closely with snowmaking department
Qualifications: 
  • Experience operating heavy duty machinery required 
  • Experience as a groomer preferred 
  • Experience operating a Pisten Bully and/or Prinoth snow cat preferred 
  • Experience with building and design of Terrain Parks preferred 
  • Experience snowmaking preferred 
  • Ability to lift 
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions 
  • Ability to work varied shifts: graveyard, days, evenings, and/or weekends
