Guest Services Representative

Full time year round positions available

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining positive guest relations by ensuring that guests receive the best sales service possible in keeping with the company’s “Sure We Can” guideline 
  • Providing efficient and courteous service when processing guest orders by mail, telephone, email and in person 
  • Provides pricing and pass information 
  • Greeting guests on arrival to the mountain with a smile; anticipating questions and offering assistance; lending a hand to help with strollers, wheel chairs, etc. 
  • Responds to guest inquiries resolving guest concerns and comments efficiently to ensure that all guests enjoy a positive experience based on established guidelines 
  • Selling and up-selling passes and Grouse Mountain memberships 
  • Booking and scheduling lesson packages, clinics and guest tours 
  • Registering participants for Grouse Mountain special events; promoting Grouse Mountain events 
  • Acts as liaison between the guest and other GMR departments 
  • Encourages guests to complete guest comment forms and Vancouver Tourism comment forms 
  • Maintains appropriate records and completes required guest service reports 
  • Handling cash, balancing floats and completing cash close out procedures daily 
  • Assists guests with lost and found items 
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and any other POS system is an asset 
  • Comfortable with cash handling
