Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of the Grouse Mountain Skyride system
- Providing “Peak Customer Service” to all guests and staff who ride the Skyrides.
- Welcoming and informing guests of daily activities an upcoming events through a brief narration about Grouse Mountain history, geography, and points of interest viewable from the Skyride.
- Logging detailed Skyride traffic statistics and relaying the information to appropriate personnel.
- Ensuring all guests possess proper boarding tickets and/or passes before boarding the Skyride.
- Maintaining housekeeping standards including the Skyride itself, as well as the Skyride terminals and all surrounding grounds and buildings.
Qualifications:
- Must possess excellent customer service skills and be of a naturally friendly and co-operative nature
- Must be mature, energetic and dependable
- Must be well groomed and have a clear and audible speaking voice
- Must be comfortable with addressing large groups of guests
- Must be comfortable with heights
- Must be able to react quickly, using common sense and thoughtful judgment within a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work independently as well as within a team
