On the heels of the popular Grouse Grind Social Nights, Altitudes Bistro is home to Winter Social Nights, the ideal way to celebrate a heart-pumping snowshoe trek through Grouse Mountain’s diverse alpine terrain or an afternoon carving down the Peak.
In a format that will be familiar to many like-minded hikers from this past summer, Winter Social Nights feature a live DJ, sweet give-aways, and food & beverage specials to keep the conversation flowing.
Winter Social Nights take place every Wednesday throughout winter and kick off at 6pm. Come out to meet other snowshoers, skiers, riders or lounge lovers, or get a group of your own together to escape the drudgery of the daily grind.

Your Winter Grind Alternative
For anyone who is still hesitant about the snowshoe experience, you should know that this sport is not only the fastest growing workout in Canada, but is an excellent way to stay fit in the Grind off-season. The trek up to Dam Mountain will get your quads burning and you pulse thumping as you enjoy some of the most stunning alpine scenery around. But - unlike the Grind - Grouse Mountain’s snowshoe trails hold some very enjoyable beginner and intermediate terrain if you’re still working up to a tough trek.
Either way, make sure you end up in Altitudes on Wednesday night. It’s the mid-week scene for those in the know.
